Complaints Procedure

COMPLAINTS PROCEDURE

The school operates an open door policy and works hard to uphold strong lines of communication with parents. Should any parent have worries or concerns about their child or the provision the school is making then the first step is to have a proper discussion with the class teacher to clarify the situation.

 

Occasionally, it may be necessary to have further discussions with the Headteacher. We try to develop good and frank relationships with everyone connected with the school but are required to set before parents the ultimate route a complaint should take if these first two points of contact are unsatisfactory.

 

In the very rare situation that the issue is still not resolved then parents are advised to take up their concerns with the Governing Body and ultimately with the Local Education Authority.
