Hi Guys Happy new year, hasn't the holidays gone fast but i have to confess christmas was the best day of it . Me and my family(including my pets) spent it toghether well not until mum, dad my sis, bro and me wwent round to my aunties. I got some Gloucester stuff a Phone with no camra but i got a camera instead. I also went to Bristol to watch Gloucester play and we won sadly my couison nearly got my faves players autograph but she couldn't cuz she didn't have my autograph book

Me again, I'm probably a pian to read about to you guys, but I just wanted to say that I went to Warwick castle yesterday, and it was better than last year!!!
Last year at christmas they had rides, which I'm sure everyone would of liked, but this year they had an enchanted forest! They had loads of different types of creatures, (my favourite being Ferres the Fawn, who's cousin was Mr Tumnus From Narnia) and Jack Frost had stolen the Princesses name that you had to work out by collecting letters, but only Rad ones, black were fake.
At the end we worked out the name, and got it right! I wont tell you what it is in case you go btu you can ask me at school. When everyone at the castle was about to leave, there was a show about if you got it right or not, and we got it right! There were many shows in between aswell and we went to two of them to let Olivia get a bit of
enjoyment out of it.
Because we went with our cousins, we started to confuse the Fawn and he didn't really understand how we were related by the end of the day, but we can always remind him!!!!!!!!
I will probably write another essay about my day in the holidays, but hopefully not as long!!

Hello all! Just put both Ella & Luca to bed and had a bit of time to spare so thought i'd check out the school site...see if there are any changes while i am still on maternity leave.
Its great to hear from some familiar past pupils.. great to hear from Harry & Annabelle Hough, Callum Acampora, Connor Retter and know they are all well and having fun! I'm now in Year 9! It seems ages since I was in Yr6, when I left. I've got my SATs coming up this year and GCSEs next year. Lyppard would seem tiny, since the school I'm at now, Droitwich Spa High, has 1500+ students.

hello...sophie here, well today is saturday the 14th, and the time is 3:27pm. i am at the kitchen table on my dad's laptop...telling you about nuunnery wood's activity week. this was my time table: monday = WASPS (i have no idea what that stands for) tuesday = enterprise (making clothes... 7.6, my form, won a box of chocolates) wednesday = a ttip of my choice (west midlands safari park, it was fab... i got drenched on the log flume) thursday = multi cultural day (my two favourite activitys were learning spanish and having mendi put on my hands, we also did 3 other activitys, but i liked these one better) friday = a trip of my choice ( i went to london aquarium and i got to touch a ray, it was realy soft) well i have to pick my sis up from her club... can't wait to see some of you in your new uniform at nunnery. I dont know which teachers are still there Mrs sandison ? or Miss evans (sorry dont know ur new surname ) and Mrs willson ? if ya do remember me i gave up with the acting caraeer ha ha and chose to join the army , i go on sept 9th to harrogate military college to train as a vehicle mechanic in the Royal Electrical Mechanical Engineers. Hard work but should be fun i wanted to pop back but didnt know who is there still . I Do remember the good old days year 3/4 and 5/6 . i havent seen any one really since i left which is a shame ,wb if ya do know me would be nice to get in touch sam x

Hiya everybody, how r u all doing. Hello to all the year 6 pupils hu hav all moved up 2 high skl, hope u got on fine in ure first week. I go to Elgar and i fink it's grate i can't understand wot ppl hav agenst it. I was really disapointed 2 see that only 3 ppl hav moved up 2 my skl considering it really is a great skl even though most ppl don't fink it is. I'm in year 8 now and fink it's great but there is alot of homework cos we've got 2 start studying 4 our year 9 sats and even our g.c.s.e's. I was so suprised 2 hear that Mr Freear has gone 2 b deputy head at Perry Wood. Loads of ppl (teachers) hav moved up there frm lyppards. I went 2 watch the year 5/6 play The Sound Of OZ and thought it was great.

Hello it's me Harry Hough!

I've been gone now almost a year and I have missed you LOADS!! I have not been able to stop thinking about you all and in particular Connor Retter, James Herbert, Tom Fantom, Zachary Vallely and Chloe Perrin.

I have made lots of new friends at my school which is called Portway Junior School in Allestree, Derby. My teachers name is Mr Steggals and he is very funny but sometimes he can be very strict but mostly he is just funny! I am learning to play the guitar and I am playing this evening in a musical show at Portway. I am playing a duet with another boy and I am playing a solo called Bobby Shaftoe.

The classroom at Portway is different to Lyppard because it has a door and lots of desks and chairs and we dont sit on the carpet here. If we are naughty we get yellow cards or red cards. I have had just one yellow card but my sister Annabelle has had LOADS!! There are alot more male teachers here and we do loads of PE. We play cricket, rounders, gymnastics, rugby and use the apparatus in the hall.

The other different thing here is we have school dinners and sometimes they are really nice. We do have fish sometimes and that is YUK!

I wear a red jumper at this school and a white top. Mum hates washing the white tops because they are easy to stain.

We have a massive playground at the school and a small field. We are allowed to play on them at break times. We are allowed to take crisps and sweets for break times but I always take fruit, sometimes I do take soft mints though because I love them!

On Fridays we have starts of the week when every teacher picks out a well behaved child and I have been picked out by my teacher 3 times and your name gets read out in assembly and they say why you have been picked.

There are clubs after school but I have not joined because I swim 4 times a week for Derby Phoenix and go to Karate on Tuesdays. There isnt much times for anything
else. I hope to join the choir in Year 6.

If anyone is allowed to send me an e mail I would really love to hear from them. I think about you all lots of times and would love to hear how you are getting on. Tell my friends I miss them.

I am going to Malvern Outdoors Centre at the end of the month and it reminded me of when I went at Lyppard. The zip wire was the best and remember playing dead ants on the top of the Malvern Hills!

I thought I'd pay a visit to the school wbesite, whilst taking a break from marking my Creative Writing books.
